Pros and cons of San Francisco Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

San Francisco Magazine app good for

I now this magazine in My IPad, its wonderful. Iam Brazilian, and your magazine is My guide in My trip in 06/07/2011. Congratulations
Youd be hard pressed to find a bother magazine that captures the spirit of the Bay Area as well as SFM!
Best magazine u have to read as a local to know the hot chill Sf better!
Love the magazine. Often glitchy and crashes on my iPad is only concern
Saves tree Light weight because you can download several in your iPad You can search And its free What more can you ask?
App functions well. Quality of content is a matter of preference. It is light reading which is somehow better on the iPad. I browse occasionally, withou having magazines laying about.

Some bad moments

This app has not been updated since 2014 when iOS 7 was alive. Now we are on iOS 10! When I open the app there is a warning that it will slow down my iPad and needs to be updated.
This app take a long time to down load each issue. Then, it l needs to load the pages after that, which still requires Internet access. Verify cumbersome for offline use on an iPad, while on my commuter train ride. The images look great on my retinae display, but Id rather it load quicker and fully, than look great.
San Francisco Magazine is a great way to find out more about the city we all love - the layout is great, photos beautiful, and the articles are interesting. This app basically displays the magazine in PDF format, but manages to layer on an interface that is slow, buggy, and frustrating. The simple act of opening the app often takes 15-30 seconds, the magazine will crash midway through reading it, and youre re-invited to download an app almost every time you open the app - a process which boots you over to the App Store.
and keeps asking if I want to get the app on every page ... Ill have to wait till its more useful...
Unfortunate that you cant zoom in on the small print (and theres a fair amount of it). Why not make the pages expandable???
Magazine will not open. Get a message about displaying the opening page, and it crashes when it gets to 99%.
